PURPOSE:To provide an on-vehicle equipment capable of obtaining useful data for arresting criminals when the apparatus is returned after being stolen. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicular apparatus whose part is always put under an operating condition regardless of an electric source switch 8 condition when the apparatus is connected to an electric source, there are provided non-volatile memory 3, a backup electric source 4 to maintain an electric source condition in the apparatus for a short time when the apparatus is disconnected from the electric source 7, an electric source detecting means 5 to detect the fact that the apparatus is disconnected from the electric source 7 and an emergency write means 6 to write prescribed data in the non-volatile memory 3 when the electric source detecting means 5 detects the fact that the apparatus is disconnected from the electric source 7. |
