PURPOSE:To prevent the cracking, buckling, corrosion and spalling of the lining of a vessel for a steel making furnace. CONSTITUTION:Aluminuous castable refractories contg. 20-70wt.% blend of 20-80wt.% andalusite with 80-20wt.% mullite as aggregate are used. The coefft. of thermal linear expansion can freely be regulated and the service life of the lining of a vessel for a steel making furnace can be prolonged. |
