PURPOSE:To obtain a release film having durability and uniform thickness. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of a metal mold for molding an optical element, a release film composed of an org. polymer is formed on the cavity surface of the mold for forming the optical element having a fine uneven surface and composed of a polymer composition by a spin coating method.
