<p>PURPOSE:To improve assembly work efficiency and reduce a cost when each of constituting parts is assembled, in the valve timing control device of an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A piston 11 is moved in advance and retreat by a driving mechanism, side end surfaces 7a to 8b of an arm 6 are rotated in normal and reverse directions while being pushed by means of the inclining shaped front end surfaces 12a to 15a of respective sliders 12 to 15 so as to convert relative rotational phase between a cam shaft and a timing sprocket 4. In the case of incorporating assembly unit X in a cylindrical main body 4a, bolt screwing holes 28, 29 for locking a jig by which sliders 12, 14 are pulled in outside axial direction, are formed on upsides of the sliders 12, 14.</p> |
