PURPOSE:To make accurate and quick correction of the shift control when shifting is performed while the gearing positions of a pair of stepped transmissions are switched simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:Drum revolving speeds of clutches Co and C2 are sensed and also the revolving speed of output shaft 46 is sensed to serve for quantitative determining of the dislocation of transmission ending when shifting is performed by switching simultaneously the gearing positions of a pair of stepped transmissions 12, 14. Correction of the shift control at the time of simultaneous shifting is carried out with a correction amount corresponding to the difference of this dislocation amount from the predetermined target value for dislocation.
