PURPOSE:To improve the traveling environment by determining the reference illumination mode in a tunnel, determining the premium quantity of the reference illumination mode in response to a load such as an exhauster, and controlling the illumination based on the premium quantity and the reference illumination mode. CONSTITUTION:The wind quantity of an exhauster 21 and the number of jet fans 22 to be operated are determined based on the measured values of a transmissometer 31, a CO meter 32, and an anemometer 33, and the exhauster 21 and the jet fans 22 are controlled. The reference illumination mode in a tunnel is determined automatically or via a push button 5 based on the measured values of an illuminance meter 35 and a luminance meter 36. The hourly traffic volume average value in the present time zone is determined based on the measured value of a traffic counter 34, the estimated exhaust quantity of the exhauster 21 is determined based on it, and the premium quantity of illumination mode is determined based on the estimated exhaust quantity and the actual exhaust quantity. The illumination 40 is controlled based on the premium quantity and the reference illumination mode. The safe and comfortable traveling environment can be provided for drivers. |
