<p>PURPOSE:To ensure one-touch handling capability of a pipe fitting even in case an ample space can not be set off in front of a female joint member on the apparatus side by forming a male joint member from an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder, pinching the wall of the pipe end by these cylinders, and thereby reducing the length of the male joint member. CONSTITUTION:A male joint member 2 fixed to the pipe end 10 is fitted in a female joint member 3 on the apparatus side by means of insert method. The male joint member 2 is composed of an inner cylinder 21 and an outer cylinder 22 having detaining groove 23 at the periphery, and the pipe wall at its end 10 is pinched by these inner and outer cylinders 21, 22. Thereby the male joint member 2 can be shortened, and fitting and removal of the male joint member 4 in/from female joint member 3 can be done easily even in case it is not possible to set off an ample working space in front of the apparatus side female joint member 3. Thus one-touch handling of a coupler type pipe fitting can be well maintained.</p> |
