<p>PURPOSE:To accelerate an energy-saving operation during the regeneration of adsorbents. CONSTITUTION:There are provided adsorbents 1, a heating source 2 incorporated into the adsorbents 1, a blower 3 for sending air to the adsorbents 1, and an air passage 4 surrounding these items. With this arrangement, when a regeneration process is started, the heating source 2 is actuated. The heating source 2 heats the air introduced by the blower 3 to produce an air flow of high temperature, whereby the adsorbents 1, as a whole, are heated uniformly. On the other hand, the adsorbents 1 situated near the heating source 2 receive radiant heat from the source 2 to be heated. Consequently, the moisture contained in the adsorbents 1 is removed uniformly by means of the high temperature air flow and the radiant heat.</p> |
