<p>PURPOSE:To feed contact materials or recording agents of sufficient quantity to the surface of a recording body, preventing said materials or agents from dripping from a porous body by pressing a porous material carrying contact materials or recording agents against the surface of the recording body or the surface of a liquid feed member to cause materials or agents to seep out and fed. CONSTITUTION:At a latent image formation section, a contact material 5 is put into a porous body 7a-1 carried on a roller 6a-1 and the body 7a-1 carried by the roller is pressed against the surface of a recording body 3 to cause the material 5 to seep out so that the material 5 is fed to the surface of the body 3. Heat is transferred from a thermal head 8 to the surface of the body 3 through the material 5 in response to image signals to form a latent image 4. At a developing section, a recording agent 5a is put into a porous body 7a-2 carried on a roller 6a-2 and the body 7a-2 is pressed against the surface of the body 3 to cause the agent 5a to seep out, so that the agent 5a is fed to the surface of the body 3.</p> |
