<p>PURPOSE:To provide a composition for forming a silicone rubber film essentially free from void, having tack-free surface and suitable as a material for air-bag, etc., and to provide a silicon rubbers film produced from the composition. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of an organopolysiloxane having a viscosity (25 deg.C) of >=300cst (especially 1X10<4> to 10<8> cst) and expressed by formula [R<1> is (substituted), univalent hydrocarbon group; (a) is 1.98-2.01) with (B) 0.1-10 pts.wt. (preferably 2-6 pts.wt.) of a foaming agent (e.g. azobisisobutyronitrile) and (C) 0.1-5 pts.wt. of a curing agent (e.g. benzoyl peroxide). The component A is preferably a compound produced by the ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic polysiloxane in the presence of an acid or alkali, having essentially linear structure and having molecular chain terminal blocked with silanol group, methyl group or vinyl group, especially trivinylsilyl group.</p> |
