摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain safe preparation form capable of gradually and continuously releasing a medicine so as to retain medicinal concentration in eyes for a prescribed period by only single intra-ocular administration. CONSTITUTION:A sustained release preparation for embedding in eye, characterized by being a sustained release preparation applicable to eye after operation of retina or vitreous body disease or after operation of glaucoma and uniformly dispersing at least one antiphlogistic agent or cell proliferation suppresser in either of polylactic acid having about 2000-4000 or 5000-7000 number-average molecular weight or mixture thereof and forming the dispersion in a definite shape.
