PURPOSE:To provide golf club head made of a Ti alloy having an excellent flying distance and directional stability. CONSTITUTION:This golf club head is formed by welding a face part 1, crown part 2, sole part 3, and hosel part 4 obtd. by cold press working of a beta type Ti alloy plate material by laser welding, etc. The volume of the head is required to be >=210cc and the strength (yield strength) of the weld zones to be 100kgf/ mm<2> in such a case. |
