PURPOSE:To prevent phytotoxicity of remaining methyl bromide to vegetables and fruits or flowers and ornamental plants subjected to fumigation treatment with methyl bromide. CONSTITUTION:One or more selected from the group consisting of chloric acid, chlorous acid, hypochlorous acid, phosphoric acid, phosphorous acid, hypophosphorous acid, their salts and amines are made to coexist with vegetables and fruits or flowers and ornamental plants subjected to fumigation treatment with methyl bromide.
