<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the gradation expression due to the afterglow of the previous printing in an end luminescent EL printer which realizes the gradation expression by controlling the number of factors constituting pixels and arranged in a pixel forming area. CONSTITUTION:This printer is provided with density storing means 36, 37 which temporarily store the previous density data of a pixel to be printed, and gradation improving means 35, 38 which reduce the number of driving pulses forming gradation pixels in accordance with the previous density data of the pixel.</p> |
