PURPOSE:To enable the deaeration of even an ink liable to be foamed or containing volatile component in high deaeration level by permeating and removing dissolved gas in an ink through a gas-diffusible membrane. CONSTITUTION:An ink in an ink tank 11 is supplied by a pressure pump 20 to a deaeration unit 19 containing a bundle of gas-diffusible membranes 17 composed of hollow PE, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc. The circumference of the hollow system is evacuated 15 with a vacuum pump 18 and the dissolved gas 16 is removed from the ink 12 through the gas-diffusible membrane 17. |
