PURPOSE:To obtain a hydrogen storage alloy vessel, improved in the thermal efficiency of the whole of the vessel which receives hydrogen storage alloy. CONSTITUTION:Hydrogen storage alloy M is received and heat exchanging tubes 2, used as heat exchanging medium flow passages for heating or cooling the hydrogen storage alloy M, or heat exchanging tubes 2, provided with heat exchanging fins 3 for promoting heat exchange on the outer peripheral parts thereof, are arranged. The title vessel is an internal heat exchanging type hydrogen storage alloy vessel 1, in which heat exchanging medium is conducted through the inside of the heat exchanging tubes 2. Heat insulating materials 5 are arranged in the hydrogen storage alloy vessel 1 at places apart from the heat exchanging tubes 2 or the heat exchanging fins 3 by a predetermined distance or more.
