PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet recording method for forming an image having a high density and no bleeding. CONSTITUTION:In this recording method, pigment-dispersed ink which is solid at an ordinary temperature is jetted onto a recording medium in a hot melt state, and the ink is absorbed into the recording medium so that the pigment is reduced in concentration distribution from the surface into the recording medium. In this manner, even using ink having a relatively small pigment concentration, a high image density can be accomplished, and an image superior in rub resistance, resistance to folding, and light resistance can be obtained. |
