PURPOSE:To make it possible to grasp the state of health simultaneously with body weight by measuring and displaying various health data on the basis of the period and waveform of a change in the state of distribution of a load simultaneously with measurement of the body weight. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of strain gages 7 incorporated in a loading part 6 of a mat-shaped measuring element 2 of a portable body weight meter 1 detect a load at the time when a measurer stands on two legs on the loading part 6, convert it into a voltage and output the voltage to a control element through a cable 4 and a connector 5. The control element measures the state of distribution of a load of the body weight of the measurer on the basis of the detected voltage, weighs the body weight of the measurer and displays it in a body weight display element 8, while it determines good or bad of the posture of the measurer and makes a health data display element 10 display the result. Besides, the measuring element determines the state of health and the health age of the measurer on the basis of the state of distribution of the load of the body weight and the period and waveform of this state at the time when the measurer stands on one leg, and makes the display element 10 display the results. According to this constitution, the measurer can know the good or bad of the state of posture and the state of health and also the health age immediately together with the body weight of his own. |
