PURPOSE:To obtain the adhesive applying device which uniformly applies an adhesive to a circumferential coating surface with good working efficiency by constituting the applying device in such a manner that X-Y moving bodies move rotationally cooperatively with the rotation of a rotating body and an adhesive applying nozzle moves rotationally together with the X-Y moving bodies. CONSTITUTION:A turn table 23 is positioned and fixed to a reference state and the X moving body 38 is driven in the direction of the turn table 23. A positioning shaft 32 is rotated by operating a 2nd stepping motor 36 to slide and position a holing member 34 on the turn table 23. Namely, the positioning pin 30 of the X moving body 38 is parted from the turn table when the distance between a rotating node 24 and the rotating center 33 of the turn table 23 attains the same value as the radius R' of the annular step part 1a of a member 1 to be coated. The adhesive applying nozzle 57 moves circularly as well if the adhesive applying nozzle 57 is lowered by actuating the Z moving body 53 and the turn table 23 is rotated in this way. The adhesive can, therefore, be applied to the annular step part 1a of the member 1 to be coated and the series application can be executed by sequence control. |
