PURPOSE:To provide a device for producing a tubular body, which can relieve workers' fatigue and can enhance productivity. CONSTITUTION:This device comprises: a support table 10 which supports a plastic sheet material A in a freely movable state in a predetermined direction; a tubular body forming portion 14 which is disposed on the moving direction side of the sheet material A and has an introduction slit 15a, and whose inside diameter is variable; and a take-up tool 22 which supports detachably one end of the sheet material A set on the support table 10 and takes up the sheet material A into the tubular body forming portion 14 through the introduction slit 15a. By rotating the take-up tool 22 to take up the sheet material A into the tubular body forming portion 14. the outside diameter of the sheet material A taken up is regulated by the tubular body forming portion 14, and the sheet material A is formed into a predetermined tubular body.
