<p>PURPOSE:Tq obtain a refrigerator in which the concentration of ethylene gas, one of growth hormones for vegetables and fruits, is adjusted to preserve vegetables and fruits for a long period of time and ethylene gas is oxidatively decomposed and circulated through the inside of the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:A permeable membrane 39 is furnished in a vegetable container 9 and selectively allows ethylene gas in the container to permeate into a cooled air pathway 36, and a decomposing device 31 is arranged on the return side of a cooler 15 mounted on the cooled air pathway and near a defrosting heater H and absorbs and decomposes ethylene gas.</p> |
