Battery chamber for two tubular batteries which can be inserted parallel and whose poles are connected to contact springs that have soldered connections projecting outwards. Each end wall of the battery chamber 1 has in each case two slots 2, 2', 3, 3' which lie in a plane, having apertures 9, 9' which are arranged symmetrically, on a slant, with respect to the longitudinal axis of the battery chamber 1, to the interior of the battery chamber 1. The slots 2, 2', 3, 3' are used to accommodate two contact springs 4 of asymmetric design. The contact springs 4 on the one hand consist of a U-shaped spring clip 5 for making contact with in each case one battery pole, and on the other hand consist of in each case one short solder tab 7 and one long solder tab 6 for connection to an external supply lead. The slots 2, 2', 3, 3' are designed to accommodate the solder tabs 6, 7, and the apertures 9, 9' are designed to accommodate the spring clips 5. <IMAGE> |
