PURPOSE:To provide graphic data by effectively tracking line images at an image processor equipped with a semi-automatic image tracking function. CONSTITUTION:At the image processor to track the line images according to a tracking instruction while providing an image memory 3 to store image data, data memory 4 to store graphic data, display device 6 to display the image data and the graphic data, input device to instruct tracking and semi-automatic image tracking processing part 12 to execute a processing for tracking the line images of the image data, two points on the contour on the both sides to the line image are defined as tracking base points Li and Ri, correlative relation between the two tracking base points is monitored while simultaneously moving these two tracking base points in the same direction on the contour, and the line image thinner than prescribed line width is tracked while absorbing noise. Then, an end point and a branch point are judged while tracking the image. |
