<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the circuit scale and to reduce the cost of a semiconductor storage by transferring the information to a ROM set at the downstream side by one stage and then writhing the new information into a write/read memory. CONSTITUTION:The external information is written into only a frame memory 1 set at the most upstream side. In regard of the write of information into the memory 1, the address information 10 is inputted to a row decoder 12 and a column decoder 14 and a prescribed memory address is selected in the memory 1. In regard of the information 10, the data stored in a frame memory n-1 are transferred to a frame memory n and then to the frame memories 1-n one by one at the downstream side. Then the new data are written into the memory 1 after the data are transferred to a memory 2 from the memory 1. Meanwhile one of memories 1-n is selected by a selector 16 and the data are read out of the selected memory. These read data are sent to the outside via the decoder 14. In such a constitution, the circuit scale is reduced and the cost is also reduced for a semiconductor storage.</p> |
