PURPOSE:To improve the surface waving acceleration of mechanical characteristics from 10m/sec<2> to 5m/sec<2>. CONSTITUTION:This method for fixing a stamper consists in sticking the stamper 2 formed with track patterns and/or pits for optical disks to a jig 1 for fixing the stamper before peeling of the stamper 4 from a glass master disk 4 in the process for producing the stamper at the time of fixing the stamper 2 to the jig for fixing the stamper of a substrate molding machine.
