PURPOSE:To supply a document generation device having a block editing function which can execute the editing processing of character data in a designated block independent of a main document. CONSTITUTION:CPU 1 develops character data inputted in the block designated by a keyboard 2 on a block memory 9. CPU 1 transfers character data developed on the block memory 9 to a document memory 5 and inserts character data which is block-editing-processed into the main document after a block editing processing is terminated. |
