PURPOSE:To provide a method for simply checking a life of a battery contained in an uninterruptible power source supplying device in a center. CONSTITUTION:In an uninterruptible power source supplying device for supplying power to a repeating amplifier for a CATV provided in a CATV transmission line, supply of a commercial power source is forcibly interrupted by a command from a center 1, an uninterruptible power source supplying device 3 is operated at the time of power interruption to supply power from the battery in the device 3 to the amplifier through an inverter and to monitor a battery voltage in the center. When the battery voltage becomes a reference value or less, an elimination command is output from the center to eliminate the power interruption state, a time until the battery voltage becomes a reference voltage value Vo or lower is measured in the center 1 to check the life of the battery.
