PURPOSE:To provide a microcomputer for display capable of making all displaying positions other than a display character into the same background color without complicating the display control of the microcomputer and in addition, enlarging a chip. CONSTITUTION:Since the display control is executed by using one of plural registers 3A to 3D in which the character color data of every character, fringing color or background color data, and display mode data are set also for setting the character data for designating the color of the character, all of the background color data to make all of the displaying positions other than the display character into the prescribed background color, and the display mode data to designate all background display, the display control can be simplified, and further, the chip size of the microcomputer can be prevented from becoming larger. |
