PURPOSE:To provide an automatic zone focus camera in which the error of a Dv value is reduced so as to reduce the error of exposure caused by flash by fractionizing data on an object distance which is used in the case of calculating the Dv value in FM arithmetic calculation as compared with data on an object distance which is used in the case of driving a lens at the time of focusing by arithmetic zone focus. CONSTITUTION:Out of the data on the object distance outputted by a range- finding circuit 2, a distance zone is decided by a zone deciding part 20 and a Dv decision parameter fractionized further as compared with a distance zone is decided by a Dv deciding part 22. Based on the distance zone, a microcomputer 1 controls a lens driving circuit 4 to perform focusing, and based on the Dv decision parameter, the FM arithmetic calculation is performed by an FM arithmetic calculating part 23. Thus, the Dv value having a few errors is obtained and the error of the exposure by the flash is decreased. |
