PURPOSE:To install an operating system without requiring a device for reading an installing medium nor the knowledge of the installment by conducting an input/output processing by a server computer in stead of a console input/output by a client computer. CONSTITUTION:A client computer and a server computer are provided with an installing server control part 10 which is an installment control means replacing the console input/ output of the client computer with the console input/ output of the server computer after the completion of a connection processing of these two computers accompanied with the start install server program, a console input/output part 12, an installing client control part 20 and a console input/ output part 23. The server conducts the connection processing when it receives a connection request of the client, and the client conducts the connection processing when the connection request is accepted. At this time, the input/ output of the console input/output part 23 of the client is replaced with the input/output of the console input/output part 12 of the server.
