<p>PURPOSE:To correctly detect the lamp life of a back-light for a liquid crystal display device and show it to an operator. CONSTITUTION:The light quantity of a lamp 2 is detected by a light quantity sensor 5. The detected fine signal is amplified by an amplification section 6 and outputted to the outside from a back-light 1 as the light quantity signal LMN. A liquid crystal display device capable of correctly showing the lamp life to an operator can be easily formed with this back-light 1. The operator can easily and correctly judge the lamp life of the back-light 1 for proper maintenance.</p> |
