<p>PURPOSE:To allow a user to make a request of correction of a band to be allocated by preparing in advance an area used freely. CONSTITUTION:A policing device 100 is provided with a controller 101, a buffer 103 having a prescribed cell capacity, an input device 102, an output selector 104, and a device 105 storing the content of an idle cell at all times. All inputs and outputs are present on signal lines 14,15,18,19. Devices 107,108 demultiplex an input cell into an information cell and a control cell. Conversely, devices 106,109 multiplex an information cell and a control cell and output the resulting cell. The controller 101 stores cells at the outside of applied cells to the prescribed capacity buffer 103. Then a certain amount of frequency bands (called as a pool of frequency bands) are reserved for high speed re-allocation. The user picks up a frequency band from the pool according to a simple rule and limit. Thus, the band width is increased more quickly than the speed of a call accept control.</p> |
