<p>PURPOSE:To obtain resin capable of constituting a toner having such fixability as to enable high-speed printing with a copying machine, a printer, etc., excellent anti-offsetting property and satisfactory blocking resistance. CONSTITUTION:This resin for a toner consists of styrene (A), acrylate and/or methacrylate (B), caprolactone modified hydroxyalkyl acrylate and/or methacrylate (C) and a polyester polymer (D) and has 0.5-60% gel fraction, 50-68 deg.C glass transition temp. and 100-190 deg.C softening temp. The amt. of the component C is 0.5-15wt.% of the total amt. of the components A-C. The amt. of the polymer D is 0.1-20wt.% of the total amt. of the components A-C and the polymer D consists of one or more kinds of dicarboxylic acids including an unsatd. dibasic acid and one or more kinds of diols including arom. diol.</p> |
