PURPOSE:To print characters in a size corresponding to a square with simple operations in the case of printing data to a paper sheet having the squares. CONSTITUTION:A document preparing device is equipped with an input means 11, processing means 12 and printing means 13 or the like. The input means 11 inputs character data and information concerning the squares or the like. The processing means 12 processes the character data, etc., inputted from the input means 11 according to a prescribed program and prints the processed result through the printing means 13. Under the control of the processing means 12, the printing means 13 prints the character data, etc., inputted through the processing means 12 onto the set paper sheet. The processing means 12 calculates the character size corresponding to the size of the square based on the information, which is inputted through the input means 11, concerning the square size of the paper sheet and prepares a character font corresponding to the calculated character size. The printing means 13 prints the data onto the paper sheet having the squares by using such a prepared character font. |
