<p>PURPOSE:To effectively prevent sticking of toner to a pressure roll and to facilitate extractior of jammed paper. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a developing device 3 as an image forming device, and a transfer roll 5 as a primary transfer device to transfer an image on an image carrier to an end belt 6, a press roll 10 abutted to the end belt 6 through paper on the end belt, a spring mechanism 24 pressurizing this press roll 10 to the end belt 6 are provided. A lever mechanism 29 is provided in the press roll 10 to separate the press roll 10 from the end belt 6 side according to need. Because the press roll is set to be freely rocked vertically, the sticking of the toner to the press roll can be prevented when paper carrying is not carried out, and the stuck paper can be extracted easily.</p> |
