<p>PURPOSE:To reduce card cost per issued amount by continuing the use of a prepaid card without restricting the use of the card even when a printing area on the main surface of the card is filled with printing data before the payable balance becomes 0 YEN in a prepaid card transaction processor for accumulatively printing out the contents of each transaction on the main surface of each prepaid card while sequentially updating the contents. CONSTITUTION:When the payable balance of a prepaid card 2 is not 0 YEN when printing data in the printing area 22 of the card 2 reach a line number L-1, the prepaid card transaction processor prints out a printing abbreviating message 1a on the final line L, interrupts the printing of transactions from the succeeding transaction up to the one just before the arrival of the payable balance at 0 YEN, records the contents of the transactions in a memory built in the card, and updates and displays a payable balance mark as a punched hole 5a.</p> |
