PURPOSE:To execute the class setting of peripheral equipments mutually used between the modes without making an operator concious of it with the respective modes in a computer system having the plural character edit mode. CONSTITUTION:The computer system is realized by setting and obtaining a peripheral equipment class storage memory existing only in one mode from another mode. The class of the peripheral equipment set by a present mode 1 is selected by moving a cursor from a keyboard 1 at a step 1. The mode 1 is reserved to a shared memory at a step 2. The mode 1 is switched into another mode 2 with a mode switching device at a step 3. The class of the peripheral equipments selected at the step 1 is set to a storage memory at a step 4. Then, the control with the mode 1, stored in the memory at the step 2, is returned at a step 5. |
