PURPOSE:To provide the image recognizing device which can recognize the entire shape of a recognized system with one time of processings. CONSTITUTION:The arbitrary edge point of an input image is set (step 152) as a comparison starting point, the origin of a standard pattern is made coincident and overlapped (step 154) to the set point, coordinate values are summed up (steps 155-158) by moving the edge point of the standard pattern to adjacent edge points successively, the coordinate values are summed up (steps 151-158 and step 161) each time edge point of the input value is moved, and the summed up value larger than a threshold value is stored (step 160). |
