PURPOSE:To provide a method of manufacturing ultrasonic oscillator array search unit with an excellent yield. CONSTITUTION:After the FPCs 2a and 2b, base 3 and backing material 4 have been formed in multilayer, an ultrasonic oscillator 1 is fixed to them, and then the oscillator 1 is cut at specified pitches to make it to be of an array. When the oscillator 1 is cut, the fold-back corner parts 5a and 5b of silver electrodes 1a and 1b fixed to the oscillator 1 are reinforced in advance in order to prevent them from peeling off and being disconnected due to vibration and friction. |
