<p>PURPOSE:To easily adjust the extent of the tension of the band of the band system tape tension adjusting mechanism of a tape player which can be increased or decreased in the shaft distance between two reel turntables by supporting the reel turntables on rotatable reel turntable levers. CONSTITUTION:A tension regulation band 69 is wound around the brake drum 40 of the reel turntable 35 and has one end coupled with a tension regulation arm 57, and the other end 69 is fixed to the reel turntable lever 41 which is freely rotatable on a chassis 16. A lever 72 to be adjusted which is wound a band winding part 72c between the reel turntable and fixed end part of the tension regulation band is supported rotatably on the reel turntable lever and an adjustment shaft 74 which has an eccentricity adjustment surface 76 is supported on the chassis. When the reel turntable lever comes to an opening position where the shaft distance between the two reel turntables 35 is increased, the abutting part 72d of the lever to be adjusted abuts on the adjustment surface to restrict the position of the tension regulation band wound around the lever to be adjusted.</p> |
