PURPOSE:To provide an insulated wire and a cable using it excellent in electrical properties, external-harm resistance, flexibility and chemical resistance. CONSTITUTION:An insulated wire contains at least double insulated layers 2 and 3 around a conductor 1. The inner insulating layer 2 is provided around the conductor 1 directly or via other insulating materials, and is composed of polyolefine compounds containing at least one selected from the grop consisting of an ethylene-alpha-olefine copolymer and an ethylene-alpha-olefine-polyene copolymer (an alpha-olefine being C3 to C10, a polyene being unconjugated diene) of 20 to 80 parts by weight. The outer insulating layer 3 has a heat resistive resin, not including halogen, as a main component, and is composed of one or two blended substances selected from group consisting of a polyamide, a polyphenylenesulfide, etc., or a polymer alloy containing these resins as the main components. |
