PURPOSE: To form a connection part or termination part by using an extruded tube as a protective sleeve, which can restore its size comprising an innermost stress grading layer, an insulating inner layer of an even wall thickness and a conductive outer layer. CONSTITUTION: A stress-grading tube is placed on a connection part and restores its size to form a stress-grading layer 16 which matches the external shape of a connection part in contact with a cable shield 9. A restored insulating tube 17 having a wall 4mm thick is restored on the stress-grading layer 16. Then, a thin layer of silicone grease is applied to the surface of the first restored insulating inner layer 17, before the second tube 18 of the same wall thickness is restored on the first tube. Finally, after a graphite layer has been arranged scattered on the external surface of a second insulating inner layer, a conductive tube 19 is restored on the connection part to form electrical contact of the conductive tube with the exposed parts of the stress-grading layer 16 and the cable shield 9 at both edges of the connection part. This reduces electrical stress, and enables prevention of a dielectric breakdown.
