The present invention relates to a disc for a tool for working the ground, the disc being made up of a sheet metal piece (1) and is designed to be moved in terms of rotation about a central axis (2) perpendicular to the direction of forward travel of the said tool, the said disc exhibiting at least two folds. According to the invention, the folds (3-3''') are oblique with respect to the radial direction (R). They thus defined fins (10-10''') which preferably point alternately to either side of the main plane (P) of the disc (D1). In one direction of rotation, the fins improve penetration into the ground, lift up the cut earth, and throw it. In the opposite direction, the fins do not penetrate very much. <IMAGE>
