PURPOSE:To provide a flame resistant electrical insulation material having a high grade flame resistance at the level of the vertical tray combustion test while being excellent in mechanical properties. CONSTITUTION:A metal hydroxide of 50 to 30 parts by weight is mixed to a ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer of 100 parts by weight, a calcium carbonate, having average particle size of not greater than 3mum, of 10 to 100 parts by weight is further admixed therein, and the resulted composition is crosslinked. |
