PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness and adhesion to a hub and to obtain the sufficient hub mounting strength of even the optical recording medium for which a substrate having poor adhesiveness to the hub is used by subjecting the hub adhering part of a transparent substrate to a surface roughening treatment. CONSTITUTION:A UV curing resin is used for the surface-roughened hub adhering part 1a and after the hub 21 is imposed in a home position and is lightly pressed, the hub adhering part is irradiated with UV rays and is thereby cured. The peeling of the hub under 4 to 9kg load is resulted with the substrate which is not subjected to the surface roughening treatment in the hub adhering part if the strength of adhesion of the hub is measured with the sample substrate mounted with the hub 2 in such a manner. On the other hand, the adhered hub in the case of the sample substrate subjected to the surface roughening treatment in the hub adhering part withstands the load up to 13 to 18kg load. Such substrate has the extremely high strength of adhesiveness to the hub. |
