PURPOSE:To realize the feeling of retrieving a familiar book on an electronic filing device by stereoscopically displaying the thickness-wise condition of a document overlapping a lot of pages and designating a content display page by matching a cursor or the like to the page overlapping display part. CONSTITUTION:The reference document is graphically displayed in a spread state. In this case, the thickness-wise condition of the document overlapping a lot of pages is stereographically displayed. First of all, the objective page is displayed and when a page turn operation switch 4 is pushed, the pages of the document on the display are turned one by one in a designated direction. When the page turn operation switch 4 is continuously pushed, a continuous page turn mode is set and the pages of the document on the display are automatically and successively turned at decided speed so as to check the contents of the respective pages in a short time. When a jump command is applied while matching a cursor 10 to the suitable position of the page overlapping display part, the pages are totally turned at the same time. |
