The proposal is for a shock absorber component (7) in the form of a web, plate or mat laid flat, especially for the support of the rails of railway systems, e.g. for fitting between the upper (2) and lower (1) structure of the line. It consists of a core layer (8) with bonded rubber particles (12) and a covering layer (10) of flexible material surrounding this core layer (8). In this system the rubber particles (12) of the core layer (8) are solely porous, the covering layer (10) consists of compact rubber material and is vulcanised on the core layer (8). This provides a shock absorber component (7) which is simple to produce and has a long useful life and good shock-absorbing properties. |
