The roll shutter topmost slat is tied to the winding shaft. The topmost connecting slat (2) upper edge (6), facing the shaft (5), is fitted with one or more spacers (7) which project beyond the edge and the outward face of the slat. They are made totally, or in part, of impact-absorbing material softer than that of the slats. Preferably, the spacers present a rail shaped interior to clip onto the slat top edge and have legs protecting over the slat surface. USE/ADVANTAGE - For force-resistant roller shutters, with reduced operational noise and wear. |
