A system for concentrating the radiation from a plurality of light sources arranged in a row. A plurality of planar wave guide systems are arranged on top of each other. The planar wave guides of these systems are partly coupled to each other in a first plane (21). At least part of the wave guides not coupled to each other have a grid structure (201, 202) by means of which the light fed into the guides can be decoupled. Each light source is associated with a light inlet aperture of a waveguide (211, 213...). The coupled waveguides have a common light outlet aperture (24; 34; 44). A second plane (22; 23) of planar wave guides (22-224, 231-233) is arranged parallel to the first plane (21). ADVANTAGE - The light outlet aperture is as loss-free possible when coupled to other devices.
