<p>A flexible phenol-aldehyde resin composition comprising, for 100 parts by weight, about 65-80 parts by weight of a resol-type phenol-aldehyde resin, about 10-25 parts by weight of at least one glycol, and about 5-12 parts by weight of at least one oligomer or polymer with a glass transition temperature no higher than about 40 °C, which is miscible with the phenol-aldehyde resin and the glycol and comprises at least one terminal function capable of reacting with said phenol-aldehyde resin. Said composition may be used to produce flexible foams by mixing it with at least one surfactant, at least one blowing agent and at least one acid catalyst.</p> |
